During the post-match presentation Skipper Rohit Sharma said that he was initially confused about choosing DK or Rishabh Pant when Hardik Pandya was fired, but he chose to go with the experience of Karthik, who took his role as finisher justified. .
Rohit, who spoke to Harsha Bhogle after the match, said: “There was a thought process to send Pant, but we wanted DK to play this role because he will be the finisher.”
