PHILADELPHIA (TNZT) – The Animal Care and Control team is caring for a horse that was found wandering the Philadelphia section of the hunting park. Neighbors living along North Darien Street gave him food and water until ACCT Philly could drive there to pick him up on Monday afternoon.
It is not yet known where the horse comes from.

His name is now Darien.

“Darien is resting comfortably tonight, we are very grateful to the people who cared about him after seeing him abandoned. He is very underweight and will need attention, and we are contacting our rescue partners at his topic because Philly is no place for a horse of course!” ACCT Philly tweeted.
