Srikar Bharat will look to conjure up the well-deserved century on day two of the current four-day tour match against Leicestershire. It was Bharat who was the bright spot with the bat for India after the first order fell cheap and there was no resistance. At Day 1 stumps, India’s score was 246/8 with Bharat (70*) and Mohammed Shami (18*) at the crease. For Leicestershire, Roman Walker, who is yet to play a first-class game, took five wickets.
