Kevin Bacon was banned from “dancing on Footloose dressed as a giant peanut” for a commercial by Kyra Sedgwick.
The actor has been married to the actress since 1988 and he has revealed that she “don’t like it when food talks.”
Kevin – who starred in the 1984 musical drama film Footloose – said: ‘It’s true that I had to turn down dancing to Footloose dressed as a giant peanut M&M for a commercial because my wife doesn’t like it when food talks.
“It’s just something she has. When she sees a talking grape, she is startled. When there was the possibility that I might be a talking M&M, she just said, “No, that’s going too far.”

Kevin told The Guardian newspaper: ‘I’ve been doing the EE stuff for over a decade.’
Another genre: ‘If I had my druthers’ [choice]“I think I would rather be known as a dramatic actor who wants to do comedy now and then than as a famous comedic actor who wants to be taken seriously as a dramatic actor. Our industry makes that transition a lot more difficult,” explains Bacon
“One of the first things I reacted to was that the spots were funny and I got the chance to make fun of myself. I like comedy, but in our industry, comedy is a club you join, and I’ve never been able to crack that membership. It’s never too late,” he added.
Kevin finds it difficult to switch between different movie genres.
