Ola Electric has again postponed its second online shopping window, the company said in an email sent to potential buyers. This is the second time that the next buying window has been delayed. It was originally scheduled to start on November 1 and then postponed to December 16, 2021. However, Ola Electric has now confirmed that the booking window will not open until the end of January 2022. Ola has confirmed the development of the TNZT.
Besides the booking window, Ola recently informed customers that deliveries of the S1 and S1 Pro will also be delayed and will now take place in the second half of December 2021.

Deliveries were initially scheduled to begin between October and November this year. With the buying window delayed, Ola is focusing first on deliveries and is also carrying out trials in 1,000 towns and villages across the country. It’s also worth noting that unlike on previous occasions, the company did not disclose an exact date for the booking window to open this time. The delay was attributed to the global shortage of chips.

In its statement to customers, Ola Electric’s email read: “We are focused on satisfying existing buyers as well as expanding our test drives across India to over 1,000 cities. and villages by December 15 to ensure that anyone who has booked by paying 499 can test the revolutionary Ola S1. “
Ola Electric initially opened reservations in mid-September, while customers must pay 20,000 to reserve the vehicle when the purchase window is open. At present, the company is striving to deliver the scooters to the first batch of customers. The Ola S1 is priced at 85,099, going up to 1.10 lakh (all prices, ex-Delhi showroom after FAME II subsidies).
