In Royal Challengers Bangalore’s loss to Punjab Kings on Friday, Rajat Patidar hit a whopping six which ended up injuring an unfortunate fan. During round nine of the 210 RCB chase, Patidar crushed Harpreet Brar over the cow corner. The ball traveled a huge distance and hit part of the stands under the railing and ended up hitting the fan. The camera pans to show a lady in the stands tending to the elderly fan, who looks uncomfortable.

Patidar’s six was huge from 102 yards out. The right-hander ended up making 26 of 21 and was fired by Rahul Chahar.
RCB ultimately only got 155/9 in response to PBKS’ 209/9, with Glenn Maxwell leading with 35.
Earlier, a high-level carnage from Jonny Bairstow (66 from 29) and a knockout from Liam Livingstone (70 from 42) propelled the Punjab Kings to a whopping total after they were put on bat.
Bairstow’s brilliant start propelled PBKS to the highest scoring of any Powerplay team this season.
He crushed 59 of 22 in the first six overs as PBKS ran 83/1 in that span.
Wanindu Hasaranga struck twice for RCB, while Harshal Patel returned numbers of 4/34, but their heroism was not enough to contain Punjab to a chaseable total.
Promoted
PBKS have moved into sixth place in the IPL 2022 points table, with 12 points from 12 matches so far.
RCB remained fourth after the match, with 14 points from 13 matches.
