While campaigning in Ohio for Republican U.S. Senate candidate JD Vance, former President Donald Trump mocked him.
During a rally on Saturday, Trump claimed that Vance is trying to gain his favor.
“JD kisses my ass. Of course he wants my support,” Trump told the crowd.
“The whole MAGA movement is for JD Vance,” he added.
Trump said Vance fell in love with him in the same way as North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
He told the crowd that in November the choice is between voting for Democrats — assuring America’s continued “destruction” — or voting for Republicans to save the country.

Vance runs into US Representative Tim Ryan.
During his hour-long speech, Trump spoke about his alleged persecution and withdrawal from Afghanistan. He also repeated his false claims that the 2020 elections had been stolen: “I entered twice and won twice.”
Vance takes on Ryan for the seat vacated by outgoing Republican Senator Rob Portman. Trump last visited Ohio in April to rally supporters behind the “Hillbilly Elegy” author amid a divisive GOP scoop that surfaced Vance’s previous criticism of the former president.
