Swiss bank UBS is hiring a team of “content reviewers” to ensure that Chinese research publications by its analysts are free of “sensitivities,” the TNZT reported on Saturday.

A job posting the bank posted in July for its global asset management division required reviewers to ensure that the language, tone and content of the reports were appropriate and that they adhered to both regulatory and internal guidelines, the paper reported.

The bank now has one employee who sits alongside the investigative editorial team, the paper added, citing a person close to the recruiting process.

UBS did not immediately respond to a request from Reuters for comment.

The move comes three years after UBS’s chief global economist, Paul Donovan, was suspended over a comment about pigs in China that sparked an argument with customers who deemed the comment a racist slur.
